Job Opportunity – Marketing Executive

HCI are Currently Recruiting for the role of Marketing Executive, HCI is a professional services provider of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement intelligence and support to health and social care organisations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering effective marketing and communications programmes, through strategic planning, strong creativity and faultless execution. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services you will be responsible for delivering marketing campaigns to potential and current clients.


Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive shall include (but not limited to)

  • Develop content for website, brochures, flyers and all other promotional materials
  • Writing content and promotional material for websites, email campaigns, blogs and social media
  • Develop, design and carry out effective day to day management of company marketing strategy
  • Create and write client case studies
  • Completion of market research to identify industry trends.  Analyse and report on market activity, customers, competitors and product lines
  • Managing design and production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, brochures, monthly newsletters, website updates and all social media content
  • Execution of online/e-marketing campaigns
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns
  • Ordering, stock-keeping and distribution of promotional material
  • Event planning and management
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications etc.
  • Producing additional marketing communications, such as adverts, email campaigns, exhibition-related projects
  • Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
  • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
  • Identify and implement activities that will drive measurable SEO improvements
  • Continually monitor website activity and produce monthly reports
  • Monitor and update website content to ensure it is reflective of HCI services
  • Being a brand ambassador, guardian and promoter of the brand
  • Maintaining, monitoring, updating and developing the company online communication channels
  • Executing campaigns, including: Email, print design, digital and online marketing, client-focused events and social media
  • Developing marketing materials to generate sales leads
  • Liaising with a range of external and internal stakeholders including clients, suppliers and agencies
  • Proactively seek creative ways of raising our profile in our key markets to generate revenue and strengthen our brand position
  • Maintaining client and prospect databases
  • Liaising with external agencies to ensure quality and cost-effective promotional material
  • Sourcing PR opportunities and writing Press Releases
  • Planning, organisation and execution of seminars, corporate hospitality and client entertainment
  • Delivery and maximisation of the HCI’s digital presence through maintenance of the website, effective SEO and management of the social media programme.
  • Any other tasks assigned to you by the Director of Corporate Services


Quality Management Systems Responsibilities:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the HCI Quality Management System (QMS) as follows:

  • Developing, implementing, maintaining and improving the process, and associated procedures, of the services provided by HCI
  • Providing input to all required measurement and analysis activities, including Quality and Management Reviews
  • Recording, managing and addressing all allocated non-conformances in a timely and effective manner and in accordance to the applicable procedure. The Quality & Safety Specialist is responsible for recognising when a service provided by HCI has not met the requirements of the HCI procedure and document it as a non-conformance
  • Completing all specific audit activities as identified by the Quality Manager in accordance to the applicable procedure
  • Maintaining personal training records as required within the HCI QMS
  • Ensuring that all relevant regulatory requirements related to the service being provided by HCI, are considered and incorporated during provision of that service


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree level qualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing
  • Excellent copy writing and proofing skills
  • Excellent command of written English
  • Technically competent with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient use of Design tools InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (desirable)
  • Social Media adept: Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, Google+
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of content marketing
