AgPaP™ Framework

The Aged Care Policies and Procedures (AgPaP) framework is a set of evidence based policies and procedures which can be customised by each individual aged care setting. The documents are provided electronically via a searchable web interface (Q-Pulse), which makes it easy for users to find and edit the documents they need. Using simple flow charts, the documents are designed to be practical and easy to use.

The 120+ Policies and Procedures are designed to exceed your requirements, and most importantly, assist in the development of high quality and safe aged care.

The strong evidence base is ensured through access to the ECRI Institute, the largest healthcare research body in the world, and strategic partners of Health Care Informed (HCI). In addition HCI's national advisory group ensures that national best practice is identified. This is supplemented by HCI's own internal expertise. If you need assistance in developing your specific policies and procedures we can also help!

AgPaP™ Improvement

The Aged Care Policies and Procedures (AgPaP) framework is a set of evidence based policies and procedures which can be customised by each individual aged care setting. The working of customization must be carried out through the process mapping of activities, with staff, in each aged care setting. This work can also be undertaken by HCI if required.

Where aged care settings wish to receive support, HCI provides comprehensive project management of the development of customized policies and procedures. This process includes a review of services, education of staff, and the process mapping of all activities with the staff involved. This service also includes AgPaP update (as above) and advice on quality improvement, risk management, legislative and accreditation fulfillment, from our qualified staff and associates.

AgPaP™ Update

To ensure that the AgPaP frameworks are kept up to date with continuing changes in international best practice, as well as international legislative and regulatory changes from the likes of ACSAA, HCI offers its clients an optional update service. These updates are provided electronically and notified via email on an ongoing basis with a major update every 6 months.

HCI's accurate and timely updates are ensured through access to the ECRI Institute the largest healthcare research body in the world, and strategic partners with Health Care Informed (HCI). In addition HCI's national advisory group ensures that national best practice is communicated. This is supplemented by HCI's own internal team of experts.

AgPaP™ Audit - (Internal Review)

The Accreditation standards state: The organisation actively pursues continuous improvement.  Through the provision of an audit of an organisation's AgPaP policies and procedures, and its related processes, HCI fulfils these requirements. The audit results in the identification of areas for improvement and how they should be tackled. This is a performed via a one day review carried out by a HCI Team member, and a subsequent plan for the organisation to pursue continuous improvement.

Where aged care settings wish to receive support, HCI provides comprehensive project management of the development of customized policies and procedures. This process includes a review of services, education of staff, and the process mapping of all activities with the staff involved. This service also includes AgPaP update (as above) and advice on quality improvement, risk management and HIQA fulfillment, from our qualified staff and associates, over the period of the agreement.
