HIQA Standards for Disability Services
The HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities set out what a quality, safe service for people with disabilities in a residential service should be. These HIQA standards focus on key quality and risk areas including: individual support and care, safe services, effective services, health and development, leadership, governance and management, use of resources, responsive workforce and use of information.
HCI works with Disability Service providers to ensure they provide the best care possible and to put in place mechanisms and frameworks for regulatory compliance and quality improvement. All frameworks are developed in line with the HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities.
