Due to the continued impact of COVID-19 (the Coronavirus), organisations are being inundated with information from various sources, leading to difficulties in accessing the evidence based information that is relevant to their care organisation.
HCI wishes to assist organisations in this regard and provide your members with free access to a collated database of up to date COVID-19 related information from specific evidence based sources, which will be updated, daily. The sources shall include:
- World Health Organisation (WHO)
- Centres for Disease Control and Protection (CDC)
- European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)
- Health Service Executive (HSE)
- Department of Health (DoH)
- Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC)
This database, powered by Q-Pulse, is accessible for all via www.hciresources.care, on PC’s and smart phones and will be updated daily by the HCI Best Practice Team. This is available for all staff.
Also provided are links to training videos and a Heat Map which provides the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University. HCI are committed to maintaining this resource to provide Health Care Providers with a single source for COVID-19 related information.
